Exploring the famed Manu Road in Peru for butterflies was a wonderful adventure. Different altitudes provided new species every day. Weather in the cloud forest not withstanding, our knowledgeable guide got us out seeing even more species, considering the conditions. Our final day was the ultimate experience, with a few exciting finds included. Definitely worth experiencing!

The legendary Manu Road did not disappoint. Even when the weather was less than ideal our expert guide found butterflies and birds. The people, the accomodations, the food all made this a memorable way to experience the incredible biodiversity of lepidopta in Peru. The post tour visit to Machu Picchu with a very special indigenous guide made this a trip of a lifetime. Thank you, Fauna Ventures, for putting together an amazing travel package.

This was mainly a butterfly trip and it was excellent. We visited a variety of locations and lodges and had a great experience. All of the logistical arrangements were handled well and went pretty smoothly. A very enjoyable trip.

Great trip! Nice small group. Excellent guide, good food, accommodations, and ground transportation. I saw more butterflies than expected along with other wildlife. I've traveled several times with Fauna Ventures and have never been disappointed.
